Five to receive honorary degrees at 149th Commencement

Washington University will award five honorary degrees during Commencement May 21. During the ceremony, which begins at 8:30 a.m. in Brookings Quadrangle, WUSTL also will bestow more than 2,800 academic degrees on more than 2,700 students. FULL STORY

Tegan Bukowski: 2010 Outstanding Graduate in Architecture

Tegan Bukowski came to WUSTL to "explore the world, to discover problems and to produce solutions," says Bruce Lindsey, dean of architecture in the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts. Final Moments with Washington University Opera

The Washington University Opera will thread together nine famous musical endings for a concert titled Final Moments at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 7 and 8. “The idea is to perform a variety of pieces that all have something to do with conclusions and final moments,” says director Jolly Stewart, who is retiring at the end of the semester.
